Hello All.

I've just installed a new Compass Tracx unit on my Warp 360. On top of that, I am simultaneously switching from Airtronics to Futaba.

I have an T14SG bound to a R6303SB and all of my setup looks good on the bench except...

There is a sporadic pulse of the swash every few seconds. It isn't a huge jump, but it ain't normal! I tried changing from BEC power to LiFe power and had the same issues, so good news is, it isn't my BEC.

I just successfully fitted a R7008SB to my 6HV, also using a Tracx FBL unit and I had no issues.

Anyone have any ideas where to start investigating?

I would rather suspect the FBL nodule...

All three servos "jump" in unison, the same amount. the FBL unit has a servo monitoring page and the unit is not seeing any input from the radio.

Doug, I do appreciate the feedback.

First, why wouldn't high speed mode be recommended?

Also, I get this random "pulse" in both hs and ls modes.

Have you swapped Tracx units between the helis to see if the behavior follows the unit?

OK, did a bunch of messing around today and observing.

First off, here's a video, fast forward to 40ish seconds, it's right at the end of the video.

Watch at YouTube

Next, I ran my other Rx off another machine, to the Tracx unit. The model wasn't setup for my warp, but they are similar setups, so I was expecting that if it was an issues w/ the fbl unit, that it would still happen. It did not.

Then I hooked the R6303SB rx (on the warp) up to my other heli and ran it off the warp model in my radio. The swash on my other heli jumped around like it did on the warp.

I think this test is conclusive enough to show that there is something up w/ my R6303SB rx, not my Compass FBL unit.

So.... Are there known issues connecting the R6303SB to a Brain/Ikon/Compass? I have the radio bound in Fasst Mulit mode, I could try the 7ch mode? Also, I did notice that when in HS mode, there were many more "pumps" than in LS mode.

Any thoughts?

Solved
Just to offer some closure for anyone following this issue, the faulty rx was sent off and I now have a R6202sbw bound up and 8 flights in w/o a hitch.
