Nice piece there Chris.

It's Chris K. AKA Bighands Can I have Channel 26 back now. LOL.

I've been watching this subject a while now, about the time I invested in a DJI 550 and most of the gear needed to do some small stuff for Commercial work the FAA grounded everybody. I'm sitting on fence waiting with everyone else.

That's funny, and kinda makes my point..

People were trying to use AC 91-57 as their justification for commercial use, but the FAA came out and clarified that AC 91-57 ONLY applied to hobby and recreation use.

There has not been any documentation that makes Commercial Use against the law.

If there is, no one has been able to produce it...

Great article. Not too often you see one that doesn't raise the evil specter as the central thread. Chris, you come off as articulate and reasoned. Thanks!

Uh oh.
