Glad you guys are enjoying your ENVs and Ballistics. Yes the machines will still be supported in Europe.

There have been a lot of machines released to the market with large companies throwing in huge dollars to promote them. This leaves companies like ours to stand on the quailty of the product. The feedback we get from customers is that they just keep flying and enjoying the machines, which is great.

If you are having trouble finding specific parts please email mgr@curtisyoungblood.com and we can help you find what you need.

Glad to hear !! I am just rebuilding a used Ballistic that I bought. So far I have been able to find the parts I have needed at CYB Hobbies. I am presently waiting for two big orders. Should have bought a new kit, I think I am buying this Heli piece by piece.

The only thing so far is I wanted a new one way bearing and had to buy a hub to get it. I wish you could buy some of the parts individually instead of in groups.

The quality of this Heli is excellent !!! I am very happy with this Heli. Too bad more people haven't realized how good this Heli really is !!

IMHO, the ENV and the Ballistic are simply marvelous machines that just don't wear out. I believe most of us really love these machines and simply don't have any problems to discuss on forums (that's a good thing).
And now that I'm also flying a new Stingray 500, I see the same attention to quality and detail, and it's such a blast to fly....
Just saw a video on the new prototype "MantaRay" that CYE is working on. Now, that's a huge 3D quad!!!
Keep up your rotor speed !

Still too quiet!
Spent today in Edinburg TX (think waaaay south) banging my ENV around the sky. Came down from Houston with my wife for a continuing ed. class she needed to take and met a great group of guys at Tejas R/C club. Mostly airplanes, but a couple also had and flew helis. They invited me to fly and hang out and we all had a great time. If you are in Edinburg, McAllen or near here don't hesitate to stop by. They are on the AMA site. That's how I found them.
Oh yeah, my Rave flew great. Still love it. Bought another used ballistic 700 to convert to a 635. Whoo hoo!
Where are we going, and why am I in this hand basket?

I also have burned up 1 1/2 Gallons so far. Enjoying all my Raves and still my favorite is the ENV Nitro ......

One slight setback, I just discovered a bad piston and liner on my OS 105 after a lean run so it will have to sit until I rebuild it.

I still have my 700 and 635 to play with !!!

My Rave ENV keeps on going - I bought it as a crashed bird and then went through it cleaning and replacing. It was like new when done and now, after a full year of flying, It's my favorite and most flown 90 size helicopter.

Nothing has worn out, I don't have anything that even remotely needs replacing and I'm still delighted how it flies with my old flybarred 710mm Radix V1 blades (not sure if there ever was a V1, but I bought these back in 2007 and they are perfect with an Align 3Gx that someone discarded).

It is a big helicopter with a good sized canopy that I find most helpful for orientation. I normally would use my 50 size models for trying new things before doing them on my big birds - not so with my ENV - I feel so comfortable with it that I am doing new things with it right off the bat.

Headspeed with my YS Tareq is 1950/1850 depending on what I'm doing. At 1950, it pulls like a train and with the 710 blades, autos are so easy I feel like I'm cheating.

Maybe there needs to be a V2 just to create something new (new sells), but otherwise it is a darn good hell!

Now, if there were some real problems with it - there would be more activity on here! :-)

Yep, The ENV is a very solid machine. I have close to 4 years on mine with only a few misc parts replaced like the dampers... No mods or upgrades needed, just build it and enjoy Still my favorite to fly

On gallon 7 now. No problems...other than enough time to fly more.

Great Heli.... I have an unopened spare if I lawn dart her.

But I agree that I learn on this bird....It is agile and stable. Big presence in the air. Easy to see at 3 mistakes high and agile enough to bail out of nearly any lost orientation.

Mine is one of the first production run kits and it still has no wear on it...I changed the links on my tail control rod after about a year and that was it. It takes a beating like no other, still the best nitro on the market imo. I agree, thread is quiet because it's a trouble free machine...less typing more flying.

Fuel count for summer
9 gals so far.....no issues...just flying.

****Maybe it is better to let the youngsters think NITRO is dead. That way we can hog the flight line for 10 mins at a time...and chase the mosquitos away from your own box.

Fuel Count
Just opened 16th gallon for the summer.
Parts count so far: Doinked an auto (no wind) and cracked a skid. Flying back from a spot auto on field and let it tip over on spool down. Stripped an elevator servo wheel.

If if weren't for my thumbs this thing would run forever!

**Everyone should try a RAVE....but the forum...would be dead. NOTHING to complain about!
