I sold my Logo 600 about a year ago to fund my Goblin but I didn't realize how much I would miss it until I got my hands on another one. I got a great deal from Gabe on a 600 and I bought all the upgrades to turn it into a 600SX. I got a new boom and frames as well so it would be almost 100% new and I kept the others as spares.
So I spent the next few weeks procuring the equipment for the Heli, and this is what I decided on:
(3) BLS 451s
(1) BLS 251
(1) HKIII 4035-500
(1) 12tooth pinion
(1) YGE 90HV ESC
(1) FS BLACK VBAR with 5.3 pro
(1) Egde 603SE mains
(1) Egde 105mm tails
(1) 6203SB rx
(2) Thor 12s 3700 45c split packs
I set it up with 14 degrees of pitch, running 2250 and 2300 HS and after 5 minutes I put 2200 back into each pack.
This thing is smooth, precise, powerful and a ton of fun to fly!!!! I really missed a 600 and I won't make the mistake of selling it again

Mikado might become my new home, after hearing so many people who fly them say that they love their machines.

Logo 600 SX
I agree Logo 600 SX and the 550 SX are great helis. I can hardly believe how efficient they are, 6 minute flights and putting back 2600 mah in each battery.
The 550SX is almost too quiet.
Using one battery with the 550 SX is so quick and convenient and the performance is very good.
Good stuff and makes me wonder about the 700 XXtreme.

True statements. When I sold my Logo 500 I immediately regretted it and jumped on the chance to buy it back a year later. Won't make that mistake again!!!

I loved my 400se so much that I bought a 600 and loved that twice as much that I bought the 800 now in the middle of building the 800 that I am now thinking of the 700 - so the logos are that good. I used to fly all align before still have the 700N but the logos are a different class in it's feel.

I know what you mean. The Logos fly just about as perfect as possible right out the box. Some people feel the need to "modify" their Logos to the point they are not Mikado machines any more except for the main shaft collar and then complain when they don't fly right and are not reliable. But hey...they CRASH good!!!! LOL!!!

The only real difference I ever noticed was due to the low battery position and high rotor which makes it fly a bit more stable...comparing my 6003d to T600e. After all, other than that they both make the rotors go round and round.

Of course, now Mikado has modified their design to lower the rotor...which is a modification a lot of us have been making for years and years.
And Align has gone to a low slung battery now too.

I am almost finished building my 600SX and I am in love with it and I haven't even flown it yet. I already have my eyes on the 800 but I would like to add a Goblin to me fleet. If the Logo flies as good as everyone says it does I may forgo purchasing a Goblin. I wish I purchased a Logo as my first model over the Trex. Live and learn

Hey man, it looks like you have the BEC connected to the battery on the positive side of the split. Not proper way to do it is it?

Huh? I don't see what you are talking about. Is it possible he's taking the voltage off of a single 6s pack and not the entire 12s stick, that way there's a better chance of keeping power to your servos if something happens to the pack, and a 50/50 chance at keeping voltage if one of the packs becomes unplugged?

Grim, don't fret yourself over this. If you look through my posts, you will see a certain someone trolling my every post.
He does not have a clear and basic understanding of how R/C helis work so he makes up terms and just tries to cause confusion in every truly helpful or meaningful thread.
I know it works, you know it works, some people like to work on the premise of theory and conjecture with no real world experience of flight experience.
I flew it today again....flew beautifully and it will continue to do so
