I set my Rave 450 down in tall grass and it blew out the plastic gears on the front of the tail. I'm having a hard time finding the parts and to make it more confusing I see lots of different combos with what appears to be the parts I need.
The part numbers for the 2 gears which stripped are ND-YR-TR034 (Front Tail Drive Bevel Gear) and ND-YR-TR035 (Tail Boom Insert Bevel Gear)
First, when I googled TR035 I found ND-YR-TR059 which appears to be a Bevel Gear Set containing 4 TR035's but that's just my assumption ... can anybody confirm? I don't mind getting 4 in case this happens again.
Secondly, when looking for TR034 I found TR055 which has bearings, etc along with the Bevel Gear, I assume I don't need new bearings since I didn't crash but merely stripped the plastic, correct? Not sure if these things wreck easily and will throw the bird out of alignment if I do not replace.
Lastly, I see TR024 which is a Tail Transition Gear Support w/Bearings. Do I really need new supports ... I assume I just need the gears.
Do the TR034's come as a set just like the TR035's, assuming TR059 are a set of TR035's? Any recommendations where to buy these from ... it doesbn't seem like many places have these parts.
