Yep
That show is what motivated me to buy the Scarab Wellcraft and put a Picco 90 with a tuned pipe in it.

Those were the days.

I loved the 80's. Funny, I was just talking to my brother and friends about how fun the 80's were and how things are different now. I remember that almost all of the 'clubs' I went to were very, very nice, there was a dress code, and we went for one reason...and fighting / getting sh@t faced drunk were not the one's! Tattoo's were an exception, not the rule.

It was a very, very fun time...one the frontier of the PC, when everything started changing.

But, I know, each generation probably says the same thing...but I really did enjoy the 80's, more so then any other decade.

Here's to good memories and getting older!

Most unusual from then --unto our present time ?
Back then we actually saw large group's of older people together - growing old together.

Healthy having fun - Not so much any more.

Today even the younger generations do not know their neighbors at the end of the street. Super segregation.

Even many in the cracker box track homes do not know who lives across the street. DO stuff like make play dates for kids or organized play time.

Pay to enroll them is some form of organized activity across town.

Then we wonder why they have relation ships with their DROID

yes the 80s here better than today

but the 70s were even better, in the 70s it was quiet and smooth, not everyone was out to get your money, and you could buy a late 60s, early 70s car for $800 bucks and drive it for 10 years, and fix it yourself, and that car would get 20 MPG if it was running right,

oh, and lets not talk gas pieces

I get sick today when I see a car manufacture brag on the Tv about the MPG their car gets, well my 71 Nova got 18 MPG with a hopped up 327, and today> over 30 years later a new, smaller lighter car may get 30 MPG, that is only as far as the manufactures have come in over 30 years, BS I call it

BTW, the 80 cars were ugly, and ran like crap

70's where great ! Heck you could take a set of spare rim's - spoon on a pair of NEW real knarly snow tires for Friday nite. Some times do the screw on thing

Cheap /cheap for the middle of the summer !!!! Snow Tires make the most Noise

Pull up in front of the Burger Quick : Set the Line Lock

Unload on them ! Till you could hear the cord's flapping -

That always got everybody excited - Best Part ?

They couldn't find you as you snuck out of the cloud you left behind:
" for block's " then Every bodies hamburgers and fries tasted like car tires

Then came the Vega Gremlin. Aries K -Car's, Pacer's, Matadors - We ate those like Dorito's

Heck I still remember the cost of a new VEGA 140 cu Inch

Right at $ 3900.00 bout the cost of my motor's at the time

yeeaa, I liked the Vega, a cute mini Camaro, we had one here with a 350 in it, but it couldn't beat my Nova

my friend had a Yama 750, he would make the white smoke with it, then he bought a 1000 Kaw, that thing would really burn them off, white
