PRC6 connectors..Better than Deans,EC5s ect... and handle 200+ amps..They just came out with PRC8 connectors which handle 300+ AMPS..
Little over kill on the PRC8 connectors but you won't find better connectors than the PRC6/PRC8 ..

The PRC6 connectors do not prevent the possiblity of plugging two batteries into each other. I do not recommend using them. Why a good and reputable company such as ProgressiveRC would push these connectors is beyond me.

digger,
Since you are new to electrics and you're starting out with large battery packs, you really don't want to find out what happens when you plug two packs into each other. It's not pretty or safe. I would recommend using connectors that prevent the possiblity of doing so. Two examples would be the EC5 and Anderson Powerpoles.

I am using the PR8s. yes you can plug two batteries into each other. But they also make red and blue connectors. They recomend blue on your ESC and red on the batteries.

I been thinking of trying the new Castle Creation connectors. you can not plug to batteries into each other and they handle 200+ amps. Not bad pricing compared to the PR6 and EC5s. just another option.

Everyone up here uses EC5's for 6S packs, preferably the Eflite brand.

Easy to solder, can't plug in backwards, and work excellent.

I use Anderson Powerpoles on my 600 and below. On the 700 I decide to go with the flow and try EC5s. I was not impressed. I just cut off my last EC5 and replaced then all with the new Castle Connector. Haven't had a chance to test them yet. But so far I like them better than the EC5s.
