This is my X50 nitro I converted to E-Power. This is a bolt on conversion. Just remove 12 bolts, and its back ready for the nitro setup. This setup was made for my scale heli to keep use of the clutch. This conversion has nothing to do with Thunder Tiger. It something I thought up, and was CNC by my good friend on here.

UPDATE!

Motor- Scorpion HKIII-4025-890KV 2700 watts
Gearing- 11/96
ESC- 100amp
Lipos- Two 6S 5500 45C. So 6S 10,500mAh

Test blades was 4 Thunder Tiger 550 flybar carbon blades.
Flight weight is 10 lbs 6 oz

Hovering only out of G.E was 21mins, That was running down the cells to 3.7V per cell. Flying around non stop, I was able to get right at 25minss of flight time, again running down to 3.7V per cell

ESC data showed avg of 16.6 amp draw with a max of 42.4 amp draw. Avg 266 watts of output, with a max of 985 watts
ESC, motor & lipos had truly almost no temps at all. Was a windy day

Today I tested blades you would never use on a scale 4 bladed rotor head. Thunder Tiger 620mm wide cord FBL 3D blades with the same setup. The head speed I'd been flying was to low for the big drag of the over kill use of blades. The clutch was hot, do to the small slipping in flight. I bumped up the head speed a little, & everything was nice, & cool again. Was to late to test hover a whole pack, but was not needed do to I'll be using carbon scale narrow card blades.

ESC data show with this setup, the avg was 29.8 amp draw, with a max of 49.8 amp draw. I didn't look at the watt output. ESC, motor & lipos again had almost no temp. I don't have a Rap. 30 gear set to try. Do anyone know if that gearing will help or hurt me, as in temps & flight times?

Thanks!

Should have run 5s not 6s or a lower KV motor.

60% of the time, it works every time!
