I came across a couple of these action figures, I was very impressed with the detail, looked very realistic.

Would love to know who makes them, tried undressing them to find a manufacturer label, but to no avail.

What size are you looking for ? - I got this guy on ebay - 1/8th scale so he stands at 9 inches tall. He does come in different flight suits too and is fully positionable.

If you go to the radio control section on ebay and type in scale pilot, you will come up with all the different ones there.

I got this one for £20 but the ones on ebay now are a little bit more expensive (Still a lot cheaper than the ones in the link above though - and they are all wearing flight suits)

I'm only here coz I'm not all there !!

Thanks all for the answers.

MDS - My machine is a 1/5th, so is in-between the usual 1/6 and 1/4 scale machines out there.

Check with "Keygrigger" on here, I think he used that figure in his MD500 Tow Defender.

Those wer made by Blue Box , BBI and century .. none of them are in business anymore or at least making them anymore ... They are expensive when you can find them. Ebay is your best shot. I have a few 1/6th Pilots (12" ) all fighter pilots and a few Apache but I want $125 plus shipping ...

you could have some fun with them, certainly look freaky when they move..

Doc Tim,
You said you had a figure, is there any chance you could put up a photo of the one you were willing to part with for 125$ plus shipping.

Thanks very much

sorry to hear that Paul,
that's life, I presume you have been busy with work and other personal stuff since the loss of your mum..
This is only a hobby nothing else, unfortunately work has to come first, but at least it pays for our nice toys LOL..

You will be fine, give it a couple of tanks and you will be back to lazy 8's in no time.

Hope to see the 145 soon.

All the best

More up on ebay now - 3 of them from the same seller.

These ones are a lot taller than mine - 27cm tall. Starting price is £17.50 so not bad really.
