The 3M grey weatherstripping tape with the red peel-off backing. I can't recall the number. Two layers under the BeastX and you'll be good.

I actually use a single layer of the 3M outdoor two sided tape.
Definitely good stuff.

I literally never use the word literally right.

My vote is on the 3M tape as well. About 5 bucks at Home Depot. I use a single layer on Electric and Nitro.

Just went through this yesterday with my 450X. Awesome flying heli and has been so for hundreds of flights. I've read about the dreaded, uncommanded right roll issue and it happened for the first time yesterday. First two batteries were fine and then it started glitching to the right when spooling up on the third battery. If I spooled up slowly, I was able to bring it into a normal hover and do all my usual tricks with zero issues. I guess it was just some weird vibe/harmonic while it was in contact with the ground. When I got home, I tore off the stock foam tape mounding pad (pain in the ass removing that adhesive) and used two layers of the 3M 4011 tape. Haven't test flown it yet, but I hope that fixes the right roll issue since it's worked for a lot of other people. The thing that really bothers me, though, is the underlying vibration in the heli causing the right roll tendency. It's been smooth and was last crashed dozens of great flights ago, so I don't know what's changed between then and now.

As stated, the 2 layers of 3M 4011 tape will work wonders. I always carry a roll of it in my tool kit where ever I go just in case someone needs it.

It really is good stuff. I use it all over the place. Securing ESCs and BECs, servo plugs into the back of a FBL controller, satellite antennas to frame, etc.

I only left the stock foam mounting pad on for so long because it worked and I didn't want to mess with success. I wonder if the foam somehow broke down and allowed the AR7200BX to vibrate in new, weird ways.

do not use the gel. It is too thick and will cause issues.
