Seeing alot of discussion on electric head speeds. Really good technical stuff. I would like to hear the same on the subject of nitro head speeds and how it is determined in flight mode, mode 1, and mode 2. What do you use and why?
I am sport flying at the time and am interested in power for any necessary bail out, of course, but don't want to waste fuel by burning more than I have to or running up motor temprature going to lean. I guess technical efficiency is what I want to learn about, understand and obtain. I have a Trex 600, OS 55-R, Futaba GY701 gov with case sensor. Right now I'm running 1,880-FM, 1,960-FM1, and 2,000-FM2. I get about 6-7 minutes flight time using FM-2. Thanks for any help/advice.
