Heligraphix looks to be running out of ideas. Wow, so many things could have gone wrong. I hope nobody else tries this stunt.

Motocross, Supercross, NASCAR, Scuba Diving, Indy, Sky Diving, Base Jumping, Big Wave Surfing, Stunt Flying, Skate Boarding, Roller Blading, X Games, Winter X Games, on and on and on

What do they all have in common? Dangerous

Fortunately not everyone has been pussified by the nanny state.

I've done several of these and enjoyed every minute of it. I think there's a lot of truth in this quote:

You're never more alive than when you're almost dead.

There's Safety and then there's this. Safety in terms of flying fields and how we operate on a daily basis is completely different than a "stunt".

I used a gas blower once on roller blades, pretty safe but didn't have much push.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Rototerrier, FlyAway02, so would you 2 suggest that we start racing on skateboards while holding a heli like in that vid, just wondering ???
That's a fallacious comparison.

You've taken what we see and escalated it to incite an argument.

One person propelling himself with a helicopter doesn't translate to 2 or more people racing in this manner.

Would be no different than you escalating any of the mentioned sports. For instance...Would you suggest we strap weapons to the cars or supply riders with swords?

Sorry my man, not in the mood for stupid today.

Professional Stunts
Keep in mind that these guys at Heligraphix are essentially in the "stunt man" business. The entire PURPOSE of this is to perform a dangerous stunt and produce a shocking video. That's why they include all those disclaimers on their videos and website.

Now, why do people perform dangerous stunts? I have no idea, but at least they're planning these stunts and making sure that no innocent bystanders are put at risk. I have no doubt that they swept off that section of pathway before doing the stunt.

I've personally met Tobias Wagner and he's a great guy, even if he does some crazy stuff.

LOL, yeah that is some calculated risk right there, but when I think of all the risky things I have done, participated, witnessed and still do that are life threatening, it pails by comparison.
