Naza M 3.10 update
Boy do I like it! A little different but the take offs are smoother, flying is smoother, decents are smoother, and the GPS lock is much better. I Can't wait to fire up the camera and see the results. Dave George Detroit.

Thanks for posting this info. Mine does well now except for descents, which are like a rocking horse or falling leaf unless performed very slowly. I'll update today.

Rocking Horse -Ride-em Cowboy!
Mine also rocks left & right during rapid decents. I believe is is an aileron gain setting problem but I have not yet solved the issue. Maybe some out there has the answer. Please share if you do. Thanks, Dave

my hexa didn't like the update
I have two multicomputers a hexa and a quad.

the quad now flies incredibly well after the update; however, for some reason the hexa became erratic even after experimenting with new parameters. It cannot hold altitude: it just wants to take off on me when I throttle up over 50%. I have to throttle down to do so that it doesn't come down too hard and the motors seem to loose all power. So then I throttle up and the cycle repeats over and over again.
the differences between the 2 copters are the escs Both have ake motors but the quad has ake 12 amp escs.

Could it be possible that the ake 12 amp escs might have become deprogrammed?

Throttle response
I believe the new throttle programming is doing exactly what it was intended to do. The new program leaves the motors at their programed idle setting until about the 50% throttle stick mark. The model then comes off the ground very smoothly but also very quickly. After a couple of takeoffs I have learned to like it. 2 clicks up and it climbs. 2 click backs and it holds 2 clicks further back and it decends. Give it a chance but of all the comments I have read, this throttle setup is the most controversial. My model, DJI Flamewheel 450, has always rocked on takeoff but the controller has always corrected it and all has been well once I learned it wouldn't crash. My resolution was to bring the throttle up quickly and this greatly diminished the wobbling take off. In a way through the new programming this is exactly what I think DJI has done. I have raised the idle setting one above the recommended setting and it is a little better for those who feel uncomfortable. The other improvements are to me worth it. I feel at home with this set up but it is different. That my 3 cents of my 2 cents worth of comments. Dave George AMA5129 RW2500

Still no success
I reprogrammed all 6 escs and tried new gain parameters. The result is the same. After throttling past the 50% the hexa climbs but it cannot sustain the altitude. it raves up and down and off it goes, then I throttle down to the 50% approx. to avoid it from flying away. it's like a yoyo.
I took off the naza and put it a spare quad that I have to see if it the problem were the ake escs. the quad has all dji motors and opto esc s.
I reset the parameters and gain values and took it to the back yard to test. It didn't work. I throttled up to 50% and it flew wobbly. Upped the gains and it just went crazy on my. Crashed the quad. No damage but Im thinking that Perhaps I have a faulty naza m. Im going to go back to the previous update and see what happens.

1) Advance IMU calibration
2) click on default value and re-enter the previous parameters.
3) Calibrate compass before flight.

3.12 works great! It's much smoother than the previous firmware. Still a bit of a wobble in descending, but not nearly as much as before. You can really see how much better it is when doing AP video.

Sidneyw, I don't recommend anyone use the old values. Let the IMU do the auto-calibrate instead. It works perfectly.
