Expo settings for Goblin 500 ?
Hi all,

Normally have not used expo on my tail. Not a normal helicopter

Goblin 500 w Ikon FBL and X9303 transmitter.

What do you guys set for rudder expo so I can get a feel for myself?

Try rudder expo 30-50% if you are newer, but really it comes down to how you want the heli to handle... what is your flying style? are you aiming for a tame tail or quick off center

so I set my Ikon for Hard core 3D. It was twitchy for me so I added 25% expo in all flight modes for Ele and Aileron.

That tamed it so it feels like my Trex600 nitro. (no expo on that with 8717 servos on cyclic(s)

Yet its more responsive than the 600, it feels right. I fly 3D, not really hard core, have a good amount of experience so not a beginner. (Hey I can do 1/2 a piroflip

I like to do fast piro in the middle of some stunts, Fast but not a blur. I would think at 1/2 rudder stick I should get 360 degrees in 1 second or close to that. 440 its defaulted setting in Hard Core mode, is soooo sloooow. At least at the amount of stick throw I am giving it, I rarely ever would go full deflection on rudder, but would sometimes on ele and aileron.
