The original hollow boom is fragile. Mine broke going tail first after 10? crashes. The canopy is very fragile. I tape the inside on the bottom half. Sorry to hear about the problems. I never did update my experience with it. I put on the eflite sold boom and have forgotten about it.

What sort of flight problems are you having? Mine was hands off docile using the settings in the book. Was it moved during initialization? What happened during the crash?

I have ordered a Microheli CNC Delrin Main Gear w/ Hub set - Model #: MCPXBL069X.. My main gear always slips down on the shaft and has some resulting mainshaft play with collective and some gear wear. Hopefully this piece will fix these issues.

I saw those. I may get some too after the mast gets worn out where the main gear goes. Let me know what you think of them when you put them to use.

I just ordered one of these from Microheli too.. MCPXBL-PWRW.. Some of the parts are lighter some a bit heavier.. probably a net wash.. Should have a bit less overall play.

Here are some pics of the new main gear. Looks like quality and the gear mesh is good. The screws are very small. You need to install one small washer between the bottom bearing and the gear..

Looks good NQNA,

Thanks for sharing the pics. I want to try them as soon. Maybe when I run out of stock gears or when the mast where the gear slips on gets worn out.

I hope you'll share when you get around to checking their durability

I flew the new maingear for two flights today. Very smooth gear mesh and the helicopter had much less vibration. To be fair my old maingear was very worn.

I received the new swash, grips and headblock today. Pics to follow.

Looking forward to it, thanks NQNA. At some point down the road I'd like to get metal grips and hub.

there's really no need for metal blade grips and hub, the swashplate is the only thing that really needs upgraded.

I would agree. I've dumped a gazillion $$'s into my 130 and with the exception of 1 or 2 things, it makes no difference. I'm gonna do a swash for the BL and stop there.....for a change.
