beast x tail issue
I have had a hand full of beast x from v2 to V3 and now i Just swapped out a good working beast x v3 to the 7200bx everything went as planned tell I got all done with inital. The tail seemed to be giving me very little movement, normally I should be able to get full travel right ? So I re did the end points with no better results. I am getting very little tail travel what am I missing ??

If the gain is too low it will do that.Heli-itis sufferer.

I only used the 7200bx. By chance is the gyro gain on the same channel? For JR, I the gov CH iirc. Low gain% will cause exactly what you are describing, even with full tail travel set.Heli-itis sufferer.

okay so half of the issue is solved! wabbit you were correct in that it is a gain issue. My radio is all dialed in but I have no control of the gain on 7200 its sitting at Blue A with which is zero. Now i just have to figure out what I have wrong thats not letting me tweak the gain .

It's either gear or gov depending on the radio.Heli-itis sufferer.

I've run the 7200bx on a 9303 as well. I'm pretty sure I used the gov CH. Maybe try enabling gov and see if you can change the gain. Not sure how the original beast handles it.Heli-itis sufferer.

okay so called tech support and have been racking my head on this one, the normal beast x just says use a aux channel, the 7200 says to use the gear channel, which in the 9303 is the governer, so they said to no longer use the gyro menu and now use the governer menu to adjust gyro gain ........

just so you stop pulling your hair out wondering if you missed something, no the 9303 can not remap functions like the DX7 and most other JR radios.

Ch. 5 is gear or gov. period.
Ch. 7 is aux 2 or gyr sens. period.

if you want to use that channel for another purpose, you need to disable the function in device select and just use the ATVs of the channel to achieve the correct values.

for example, to use ch.5 for gyro on a 9303, you just disable gyro sens in device select, and use a value in the ch. 5 ATVs to set your gains. on the BeastX it's easy because the reference lights on the unit tell you your relative gain.
if it ain't broke, break it.

+1 on the gov function for gain contol with the 7200bx and 9303. Enable gov in flight mode format and you can set a value for each flight mode and throttle hold.beating the air into submission...........cool!
