Weak servos?
I just completed the build on my new 600n DFC kit. Last night when I installed the main blades I realized the powered off stock servos will not hold the blades and swash plate level. The weight of the stock Align blades causes the servos and swash to sag down. As soon as I power up the heli the servos jump to level and everything appears to function normally. When powered down the servos sag and the blades tilt and swash plate sags.
This is odd to me only because my 500 DFC and also my 700e V2 withe the same servos as the 600 will stay level even when powered down.
Any thoughts on this? Is this normal?
Thanks

Unpowered servos have no reason to remain immovable. What you see unpowered does not translate to powered up and actively maintaining position. Some servos move quite freely when not powered, others offer a bit more resistance to movement. It's not a problem, and nothing to worry about.-----

Ok,good to know. I consulted a buddy today about this and he basically told me the same thing.

Whew, good to know there's no issues.

I planned to maiden this Saturday but we have all kinds of crazy hell weather going on and predicted to last for days.

Your ball links or something's way to tight on your other Helis.

If you turned your car off, put it neutral and parked it on a hill with the brakes off and it did not roll down the hill. Would you call it normal car?

Your other Helis are the car parked on the hill. The servos have to force there way through all of that resistance before they even think about moving. That's extra effort and work on the servos.

Everything should move easily, freely and not bind.
