On 5 NiMH they give the advice that BLS251 and BLS256HV can be run direct and have no lifetime difference.
There is no real world difference between a 5 cell Nickel pack and a LiFe pack. If it's vendor rated for 5 cell NiMH then it'll work on LiFe the same.

In this case it appears as though Futaba has rated 4.8V only (4 cell Nickel). Though there are lots of field reports running at higher voltage without problems it would be outside what is apparently Futaba's rating for this servo.

I ran a life pack on one of my helis and it has a lot of flights on it with no issues at all. The 251 and life pack will be just fine for you! I say go for it! Scorpion Motors
