The locking servo plugs I was trying to find the other day
Someone mentioned that locking servo plugs would be cool and I thought I remembered posting some a while back.

Here they are....

Very good idea...now they need to do that with everyother device that has a nasty habit of suddenly "disconnecting"...I bet there are hundreds of situations where a heli could have come home in one piece if they had those on the servos, RX, BEC, Gyro....showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

The next thing I will love to see is thicker servo wires like some heavy duty ones.Speed of light is greater than speed of sound. Some people seem very bright until U hear them speak

BUT they want this to happen lol.
So they companies can get more money out of the consumer.

If you want just the connector Hansen Hobbies has a latching connector as well.

It looks to me that only the side that goes into the servo has the locks. The other end is still just the same old connector. I do like the idea of replaceable leads however.

Replacable leads could be ok, we will see.
It is one more connector in the system, and connectors are allways the weak link in helis.

But i like that information very much McKrackin, thanks for sharing !
Now we would need such at the RX and FBL system as well to get rid of the Hot glue stuff or shoegoo.

But i assume that hell freezes before the suppliers of RC equippment will agree on one system.

If there was only one system then how could we have "mine is better than yours" arguments. The forums would colapse!!!

I think I like the hansen version better.

Well yeah....It's just meant to show how easy it would be to implement locking plugs into RXs and FBL controllers.

The plug already exists.
