Pitch Curves
I know this has been covered in part by different threads, I was just looking for some confirmation/clarification.

I have a Vario EC135 with a PHT3 and Cine tail these are pitch curve settings I have:

Thrott min, Trim min, Pitch -4, JetCat Throttle setting 1032

Thrott min, Trim max, Pitch -4, JetCat Throttle setting 1263

Thrott 50%, Trim max, Pitch +4 JetCat Throttle setting 1552

Thrott 100%, Trim max, Pitch +9 JetCat Throttle setting 1936

Throttle basically linear. Are these settings suitable. Can anyone explain the strange JetCat throttle settings of 1032-1936, why not 0-100 or something similar.

Thank you advance.

Regards

DO NOT run your throttle on the PITCH stick/channel.

throttle can be assigned to a 3 position switch, or a knob. You fly at 100% throttle all the time. The ECU takes care of keeping the RPMs where they should be .. there is no throttle curve durring flight. just full, idle, off ..

Hi Charles,
I thought you were getting Darren Swales to help you out setting the 135 up?

If not, I'll email some set up details over to you.

Pitch Throtle settings
Add to what Voy has written
The throttle settings should be
Normal 0-50-100%
Idle up 1, 100-100-100%
idle up 2, 100-100-100%

Pitch,
Bottom, -1
Hover, +? you set this to hover at mid stick, depending on set up
Top, +8+9
Any more than -1 bottom end you will drop like a stone

You should be using your transmitter to set throttle and pitch curves, not the ECU

Head speed is set from the ECU
