LIFE as RX battery in Trex 600 nitro
I`m seriously considering changing my Align 2-1 against a LIFE battery and I will be running without a switch. Would it work to use this battery and and just add an extension cable from the battery into the reciever? Do I need to change any connectors or can I use the small one already on the battery? Also, are these thin cables capable of doing the job properly?

Life pack
I've been using a 2s life pack on all of my nintro's for a while now and have never had any issues. Be sure to check the voltage on your tail servo to be sure it can handle more than 4.8-5.5 volts- most cannot. If not just use an inline stepdown on the lead going to the tail servo. As far as the cable you mentioned and linked- it should be fine unless you have some seriously powerful servos pulling a lot of mah's.
I meant to do that!!!

The servo connector is limited to about three amps, not the wires, therefore, I use batteries with at least two connectors. The second plug can often go into an open port on a governor, or just use a 10 channel rx.Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

So would this setup work?

Battery and an extension that goes into the RX.

This one is better since it has two plugs that go to the RX.

I use the 3200mAh pack.

If you only have one empty port in the RX...remove the signal wire from the gyro gain plug and put it in one of the empty holes in one of the plugs from the battery...then plug it in the port you use for gyro gain.I literally never use the word literally right.

That looks good but there are still two JR connectors unused on the battery.

Then don't use them.

My pack has two JR plugs that are unused.

It's not complicated...Just figure out a way to plug it in.

I have an AR7100R I could give somebody.
It has a power lead with an Anderson Power pole plug.

The RX works perfect but the rev limiter didn't seem to work...I may have set it up wrong but I don't know for sure.
