A little story is required: About 1 1/2 years ago I was moving up from 450's to 500's. Figuring that somewhere down the road I would go bigger, and knowing me, that meant real big! I purchased this 700 Nitro frame from a guy off of Helifreak that was phasing out of hobby & was parting out his last remaining 700N. Over the next six months or so I collected equipment. New KDE Conversion kit, New Silver FB head complete w/swash, New GY611, 3x DS610, 1x F9256, AR7000 w/sat, RCE-B6X, Western Robotics vr for tail servo, Scorpion 4025-530, CC HV ESC, and so on. While this was getting accumulated, I built a 600ESP to be my in-between transition bird. I now had most, if not all, the parts I need to finish the 700 build, but wanted something a little different. I know I was tired of owning & seeing hi-gloss black CF frames & shinny Aluminum stuff. One day a friend of mine (owned a custom glass co.) stopped by for a brewsky & we shot the breeze. He asked what the hold up was on the 700 & I explained my glossy & shinny hang-up. He said, why don't you let me try my "MICRO BEAD Blasting" as I do my custom staining glass customers. OK, I said but let's do some experimenting first, so I gave him a busted 500 frame and some twisted up KDE aluminum from previous crashes (I had many)! The next day he brought the items back and I WAS SOLD!! Now the task of removing ALL the bearings from the bearing blocks, tail assembly, tail bell crank and yes, even the Motor which also required detailed masking to keep anything from entering places it wasn't wanted. The boom was masked off like a Barber Pole & anything that had a female thread got a bolt inserted. A few days later I went by to pick it all up and was overly delighted! Now you know why & how the frames are mate black and all the Aluminum (- Head) is a light pewter gray. But you ask, what are those SHINNY CF parts on the frame, good question. They are frame reinforcements (lower front & back) gear supports came with the frame & the larger piece around the motor & under the main gear, I fabricated. All 6 pieces were (MBB), then Epoxied (aircraft type from Boeing)/ helps to have connections in the Airline Business / to the frame under 1200# pressure for 24Hrs & finally coated with clear Epoxy so they would contrast & stand out. By now I have flown the 600 a few times & VERY UNcomfortable with it's size (knee knocking flights). Over the next few months the assembly process insued. Another few dozen flights on the 600, getting less stressful but not at all like my 500 confidence? Well, it's time to place an order for some batteries, but before that I think I'll bolt on some blades and set up the head, Gyro/tail. THAT WAS THE DEAL BREAKER!!! OMG, this SOB was HUGH, so much so that I needed to make an extension to my bench so I could just swing the blades! I got bad flash backs from my first 600 flights which this 700 now DWAFTED! FOLKS, that's the end of the story, batteries were never purchased and now this, one off, is up for sale. I'll keep the listing going for a few weeks and if not sold by then, then it's off to the Bay, EBAY that is.

I think I listed most of the items on the Bird, Blades are 715mm, both Canopies are very respectable (Blue/White)= Perfect but stess cracks (norm) around the grommets / (Yellow/Blue)= Same, plus a few mounting chips where it meets the frame underneath.

Spares are what you see> Frames are new (not cf) but some type composite? Bearings in blocks are notchy.

The Black FB head (used)is an option if you rather have that instead of the silver one & the FBL head IS NOT part of this sale & is just there to show you that I have one should you be interested and also have the FBL / 3GX should you be interested.

[/B] I'll handle PP / you take care of the shipping. Costs will vary depending on Zip & until it is Disassembled, boxed & weighed, cost can only be estimated.

Sorry for the long drawn out dissertation, but someone would want to know, WHY & HOW!

I'd rather have cash, but always open to a great deal. Run it up the flag pole and i'll see if it waves?
