Your question is a loaded one. "best" in what way? Overall I like the Thunder Tiger G4 for it's flying qualities, durability and parts support.

I'm weary of some of the new product lines. They seem to come and go. Thunder Tiger has been here for many many years.

I can't complain about my Trex 700 or Avant Aurora.
Both super nice helis for cheap.

I had issue with the Trex start shaft breaking a lot but I think the Align starter hammering on it may have been to blame there.

I literally never use the word literally right.

Can't go wrong with Thunder Tiger.
I want a G4 to go with my other Raptors.

I love the smell of nitro in the morning.

If I were to buy a 90 heli new I'd say I would have to go with the raptor. I have a carbon max for the second time, a js frenzy (cheaper made) and now just picked up a freya. The rap has been around for a long time as others have mentioned and they flew good then and I'm sure they do well now. I can only imagine the parts are cheaper than some others too. My problem is I LIKE 'EM ALL! now that align only offers a combo and not airframe kit for second choice I think I would try a MInAir I've always wanted one (prob find a 700n airframe realistically).....

There is no such thing as up, it's all out...

I have to agree with McKrackin on this one. The Aurora 90 and trex 700 are great helis. I've owned MA Stratus and that was one hell of a machine, so I know the Whiplash has to be top notch as well.

The Whiplash was super easy to build. Haven't flown it yet though but I should get the chance soon.

For what it's worth, I have built and flown several Trex 700's, one Avant, Vibe 90sg and old school Raptor 90 se's. They all flew well, but if I could only have one it would have to be the Rave ENV. To date it is the best 90 size heli I have flown.

Keep in mind, if you are flying FBL, the agility and performance is dictated by the FBL unit.
Final all up weight and reliability are qualities of the chassis and your craftmanship.
I have the JR VIBE SG N
You own one the best machines out there quality wise. The only heli I would consider besides it is the Raptor G4 nitro because of its lightweight, don't think its quality is as good as JR but still very good, and the overall design and functionality is great.

If anything, you can upgrade to a better engine (OS 105) and or diferent FBL IF needed, but the Vibe SG is a keeper.
