I got a few flights on my gasser today. It seems to fly quite well. I have never had a gasser before or a spent much time with nitro. I was weened on electric.
My comment is, with full tank of fuel it is nose heavy and with less than half it is tail heavy. Ive always had perfect balance with electric. This was kind of a surprise to me thinking I had something wrong in set up. So I was told to balance with a 1/2 tank of fuel.
Any comments or other suggestion?

It's the nature of the gasser or nitro machines.

Fuel can become a significant part of the weight.

The best method that's generally used is to measure at half a tank, as this is the "average" CG so to speak.
