5.2 pro to 5.3 pro - Is it worth upgrading?
Any inputs as to the improvements that mikado has put from 5.2 to 5.3 pro? Should I wait for future upgrades - Is it worth the money to do it now?

BTW - I have the old black sensor w/ satellite capability.

Any thoughts. Thanks.

5.2 pro to 5.3 pro is free
Now if you are going to pro for the first time, you get the VBAR gov, logging features, vibration analyzer, and a few other small things. What Heli are you flying???

Thanks again for the information - Got another member to answer the same thing that it's free and that's great.

I have it on my logo 400se.

I mean the 5.2 pro flies great. I am mainly a sport flier and mild 3d but nothing crazy not sure if i'll even notice a difference for someone my level but hey if it's free why not!!

Thanks again.

do you have to jump through Mikado's new 3-ring circus of hoops to upgrade from 5.2 to 5.3?

i'm just curious. i haven't upgraded any of my vbars in ages. i've heard "things" about the new procedure.
if it ain't broke, break it.

The new procedure really is not that hard. You register it if you bought it new. If not you enter an email, it will bounce back with a spot to send them a screen shot or a copy of your file (to prove ownership), then they transfer it to you. Super easy and takes 5 min per VBAR. I had 10 under my name Team MikadoUSA 480XXTreme, 550SX, 600SX, 700XXTreme, 800XXTreme!!

how long does it take for them to get back to you once you provide proof? Germans are typically asleep when I'm awake. 1 day? 3 days on a friday?

or have they somehow automated the approval process?
