Jet stream
Nice

The Omega pro with a jet stream was my first Serious heli as well.

I made a complete female mold of it. as well as a Epsalon.

Hello Johnny, Hate to rain on your party, but the Heli you show is not an EX. The EX had Push-Pull as pictured...

Your heli is still cool - thanks for posting

No problem Colin

My EX is a genuine version from 1991. The eagle,in your pic, seems upgraded with modern Hirobo blue parts not available in those years.

Same pics of my hely on vrhc.co.uk. No Blue push-pull but standard black parts with SST Eagle EX (91)

I can confirm that the blue parts though genuine Hirobo (I have spares of them) are an upgrade part.

Do you also fly these models, or simply a collector? I do not mean that in a bad way. You have a beautiful collection, so it would not surprise me if you did not fly them.

Usually I fly with all restored heli. Fews flight during a year but they fly. Main problem is time.

THe boxed vintage helicopters of course they remain in their box.

You sure have a knack for finding all the best of the oldies. I always liked that Jet Stream fuselage. Someone still sells them, but I forgot who. I need to jump start my memory.

Here is my Hirobo S.S.W. (Super Stunt Winner's) mechanic released in the second half of '80 for serious F3C competition. It is new in box. At that time it was very expensive 150.000yen only for the frame kit!!!! You had to add a Head (DDF), rotor tail and body.

The engine/rotor trasmission (spur gear and timing belt on primary)is very similar to Kyosho caliber 60/90.

Here the link with some additions infos about this heli, on my blog.
