Thats neat, I'd like to get hold of a micro camera for my e carl goldburg falcon, that can do hd video. I have a copilot 2 on it and it flys like on rails with the copilot. It's very steady for aireal footage. Not that I need a copilot it was just fun to try.

Get some cheap HD spyglasses from eBay and remove the camera.

That's exactly where thise set up came from...This one isn't HD though.

I do have some HD spyglasses from eBay though.

That looks like that would work for real up close work but not for any distance. The foamy is probably quite close but doesn;t look it in the video. Neat little project.

Actually, the foamie is pretty far away.
I generally fly about 100 yards out.

I like to stay away from our houses and the dogs and the field is usually too wet to walk out into unless I'm gathering up a wreck.lol...

I got a keychain cam based on advice from this site ( http://www.chucklohr.com/808/index.shtml ) and it works pretty well.

I see you can even buy one on Amazon now, but I don't know how it stacks up according to chucklohr's site.

Dirt cheap and fully functional.

oops, bounced it!

McKrackin that camera is very low quality. I have the keychain #16 which is by far the best keychain out there. after switching to the GoPro 3 black there is no comparison. If you just want low quality vid that's fine but if you're looking for a better pic get a better camera. There are other camera's out there in the GoPro size that will work. You will be spending over $200 bucks though.

Not looking for quality for an airplane that gets crashed three times a day.lol....

Also has to be super small and light.

Not going to work on a heli though...Too sensitive to vibes.
