A 6S 5000mah pack would probably not fit inside the frame. You would have to parallel two 6S 2500mah packs of the proper dimension.

The 600 pro is a purpose built 12S heli. Just because it is 12S does not mean that you have to fly 3D.

It is perfectly capable of gentle sport flying if that is what you want, with the added bonus that HV offers which will be a mild 20-30 amp draw on your packs.

This allows you to run 20C packs for sport flying which are nice and cheap.

HV has plenty of upside...try it, you'll like it.

If you really want a 6S heli then take a look at the Trex 550. Its not a good idea to mod a 600 pro to 6S.

Stock gear is way too high for that motor on 6s, scorpion 4025 890kv would be more like it.

The 600e pro is designed for 3300 packs so you would just parallel them up to get 6s 6600mah AND as c ratings are a multiple of capacity again you would still only need cheap 20c packs!

60% of the time, it works every time!

If you're really dead set on doing it I offer these observations. When I had one of these EFL pros I found the GensAce 6S 5500 25c battery fit perfectly in the tray area and the cg was excellent with all the electronics mounted on the front tray area. The Align 1220kv motor will drop right in, but the only pinion you can use with the stock motor mount is 13t which results in a very high head speed. You can try the KDE adjustable motor mount and you s/b able to gear it more suitably. Also the stock 1220kv motor has a shorter shaft so the pinion brg block won't work...though I'd imagine you could swap in the shaft from the 510kv variant. As others have suggested, 6s with 600mm blades on a bird of this weight will be hard on a 6s setup even flown softly. It kills batteries in the Az heat. I'd suggest at least 65c if you go that route. Have fun and experiment. Don't forget the 550 DFC can fit 600mm mains, has an adjustable motor mount, and is lighter as well.

guys thanks alot for the input and advice and observations it all is much appreciated. I have 2 EFL Pros both I purchased off of runryder both have never been built setup and flown 1 came unbuilt in the box the other one came with the 1220 KV motor so I was trying to figure out a way to use it. I even just recently purchased a talon 90 for that motor. I did notice that it was extremely tail heavy so I can see the need for 2 batteries on the tray. I have servos already installed in the frame I actually have everything to make both flyable on the 12s system right now I have 2 600 (510kv motors) 2 ice 80hv's 2 7.4v batteries with voltage regulators for the electronics. 2 of those serial adapters and mounts for them. so I will not waste any more of anyones time but I do appreciate everyone point of view 12s will be the way I go thanks again Blair
