convert a belt drive to torque tube ?
Hi all I am doing up one of my old 500, it is one of the first 500s I think, had belt drive flybar head etc

So far I got a load of alu parts and a dfc head on its way, also I got a carbon tail boom

Question is what parts do I need to convert it to a torque tube ?

Can I use the carbon boom?

Reason for the upgrade is I want to put it into a cobra fuse

Thanks

Belt or Torque tube
It depends what fuse you're getting... 500 Align fuse uses torque tube and TT tail adaptor. But for the aftermarket ones, it's normally Belt and Tail belt adaptor. I beleive you can also get the Aftermarket one for the torque tube. Me, I got an Aftermarket and stayed with belt, cause I never had a problem with the belt.
