All S800 old users can enjoy certain discount to buy the vibration absorber kit and S800 Evo Frame Arm, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact with your dealer!

S800 EVO Frame Arm

It has a new and additional strengthened structure design with greatly enhanced rigidity. Multistrand SR Wires of power and signal lines embedded which has improved the system reliability comprehensively. The S800 ESC and motors can be installed directly onto the arm.

Specification:
1. Total weight: 139.5 g;
2. Working temperature: ¨C 20-70¡ãC;
3. Signal wire standard: 22 AWG SR Wires;
4. Power cord standard: 16 AWG SR Wires;
5. 2.3 mm displacement of the motor axis @ 10N lifting force;

Features:
1. Compatible with S800;
2. Greatly enhanced rigidity;
3. Multistrand SR Wires of power and signal lines.
4. Under the same tension, S800 EVO frame-arm deformation is only about half of the S800 arms;

S800 Vibration Absorber Kit

The kit contains six dampers and an IMU mounting plate. You can install them easily on your S800 without making any changes to your S800 and flight performance can be improved greatly. All you have to do is just installing the six dampers between the S800 frame arms and the landing gear, and the air-core damping ball within the dampers will absorb the high frequency vibration. It effectively reduces the high frequency vibration influence to the IMU and gimbal, and makes the S800 flying more stable.

Specifications
1. IMU mounting plate: 21g;
2. Damper: 15g (each);
3. Total weight: 111g;
4. Damping ball hardness: Shore A 50;
5. Working temperature: ¨C 20-70¡ãC;

Features
1. Effective isolation and absorption of the high frequency vibration;
2. Aluminum alloy CNC technology;
3. Easy installation;

The difference between with and without the vibration absorber
Before we mount the vibration absorber on the S800, we stick the GoPro camera on the landing gear directly and the shooting footage are full of water ripples; after we mount the vibration absorber on the S800, you can see clearly the working state of the vibration absorber, and there are no water ripples in the shooting footage, in addition, the vibration absorber will greatly reduce the vibration of the IMU and the gimbal.

I'm glad their fixing all the problems. Life is more enjoyable when they don't crash. Dampening the IMU is a great idea and needed to be done.

DJI Fix
I'm not gonna be so easy on them. So is this a RECALL? Weak arms...SMALL diameter single-stranded wires. Seems like you supply us free arms and we do the hard part...removing glue and soldering those overlapping wires.

Sounds fair to me. You do want to be fair to your customers don't you, DJI? In the US, we call it "Man-ning Up".

God created only a few perfect heads...the rest he put hair on them.
