Building a 24v Charging Case Combo

Here is the list of what I've used on the build so far
2 HP DPS-600PB power supplies wired in series Ebay $20
SKB i-series waterpoof double pistol case $99
Hyperion EOS 0720I Super Duo Charger $279
AC power cord x3 $15
AC adapter $5
Fan grills $7
Wire/spade lugs/heat shrink/misc $15

Let the build begin!

Started with preparing the PS
I choose HP600's due to how inexpensive you can get a set on eBay

Thanks to my good friend Ray Stacy for wiring the PS leads

Making the y-harness and leads and hooking the PS up in series

Time to start the case - SKB I-series

Mounting the fan grills and AC adapter port

Parts Installed

Test test

The foam pad simulates the deck I will be building out of plexiglass

Time to get charging!

This is all for now will update once deck lid is installed and charger is mounted

Case is finally finished!
I made the deck out of plexi glass, epoxied in six wood towers inside to mount the plexi glass to and screwed the deck down, drilled holes for my female banana leads, and used extra strength Velcro to hold everything down. Everything fits like a glove after trimming a little of the foam pad on the top of the case. Very happy with how it turned out!

Nice job! Thanks for sharing. I was not aware SKB made cases in that size...nice case that's made in the USA!

How did you cut the plexi glass?

I had my local hardware store cut it to 10x16 or whatever the dimension was and then used my dremel to round the edges and get final fit. The holes for my banana plugs I used 5 different drill bits to increase the hole side gradually so it would not crack!

@mdu6 I am not sure which exact model. I picked it up at Gander Mountain for $99. Will try to get up measurements after work
