Just rec'd my 300x yesterday, charged the battery, setup my 7s and proceeded to put the first flight on it. About 3 min into the flight, which was very smooth, no vibrations, I started getting unwanted pitches forward. This happened 3 times, the last time I managed to get it down OK. Turns out the elevator servo was out. If I helped it along it would function but no power to move by itself.
Called Horizon this morning and explained the problem and the result is a new servo already on the way. Was advised to keep the bad one for parts if I needed any.
Very good response to a problem by Horizon. Some may complain that this should not have happened but anything can fail at any time.

3 days later I get the new servo Horizon sent. Installed and currently have over 20 flights, great backyard heli, stable, nimble and very smooth. Enjoying this more than my 450 sized helix.

Blade 300x servo failure 3 min into 1st flight
The same thing just happened to me. Just picked up a Blade 300X today. After making a very slight tracking correction the heli spun up very smoothly out of the box. Held a two foot hover for about three minutes with a very solid tail then it appeared to glitch and started to nose over. Chopped the power just before loosing it. Upon closer inspection the only damage appeared to be a broken landing gear from the hard landing and tip over. Powered it back up and the elevator servo was history. I will be calling HH on Monday. At least I have the mCPX BL to fly until I get her back up again.
