What damage would occure if I were to use esc's that had built in bec's that has a naza FC system? The same question accross the board of forums differ from form to form some do use them some don't. Also if you use a bec on a multirotor say like a F550 would the esc's make strange nosies like 2 pieces of aluminum tubing hitting together?

Thanks

Why would you want to use the BEC in the ESC when the Naza takes care of that for you.

Just remove the red wire and as long as the escs are fast enough you should be fine. I have some turnegy 18A with SimonK firmware. They work fine with the Naza as do many others.

Here is a list of some compatible and not so compatible components:

Well the esc's that came with the "RTF" hexa has esc's with a biult in bec so was not my choice. I was just wondering if they would have any damaging effect to the hexa. The esc's I believe are from rctimer but I'm not really sure. And yes I am going to remove the red wire for the esc's I know that its powered by the bec that comes with the naza.

Maybe you should email tech support at DJI if you are just curious if it would damage the Naza.
