boca bearings?
i see on Boca's website they have a set of bearings for the 130x for about 30 bucks. but then i also see an "upgraded tail set". is the "upgraded set" just for a aluminum tail box or will it fit in a stock tailbox? another question, do you think it is best to have an aluminum tailbox over a stock one. i love my 130, but like everyone else, i have tail problems. stock bearings wear out tooo fast. thank you for any input.

must have been a dumb question. i went ahead and got the microheli tailbox, lever and pitch slider. no more slop. tail holds much better. the microheli bearings that came in the tailbox are open so they can be easily greased. so far, very happy.Have fun, Fly safe!!

I am wondering too if boca bearings are worth the price tag? The 130x seems like it could benefit from good bearings.

i can say this at least, with the new tailbox and new bearings, i can fly with more confidence that the tail will hold. it used to "lose control" at least twice a flight, if i pushed it, in a light breeze. since the install, i was flying in much heavier winds and only "lost it" once when i crested the top of 50 foot tall pine trees into the really heavy wind. now i want to see if this setup can stay good for more flights. keep flying!
