I normally do not take a picture after the crash, but this time is exceptional.

Yea thats gonna be a fun one to clean up. Someone needs to post up the pic of Bobby Watts partial heli after the forever long chicken dance in the muddy ditch at the Birmingham fun fly a few years ago. It was a mud ball and I think it was a total loss.

Wow
Did that one go in a shallow pond? Let us see it when you get it cleaned up.

Jimmy, If it looks like a heli I like it.

It is pain in the axx to clean it up. I need to use a toothbrush to clean the hidden area and around the screws, nuts and corners.

Wow that's pretty dang muddy all right ! but look on the bright side after you finally get all that mud clean off you'll prob see that crashing in the mud soften the blow and prob saved you some otherwise broken parts and lowered your repair bill......

I'd consider disassembling the heli and starting over. I bet you find a lot of hurt components you'd never put in a new heli, so why put them in a rebuild?

This was Birmingham this year. It's not my crash nor is that my heli... but, anyone that would crash and then leave the thing out on the flight line with the broken blades as a cross, there goes a friend of mine.

Now there is someone with the right attitude about crashing. I've seen people throw transmitters, stomp on their crashed heli, etc. I was at an IMAC contest one time where the crashie stomped the p*ss out of the undamaged parts of his 35% Carden because he was so mad.

Yea... No. It's not my heli and I don't know who's it is. (If you're here, please speak up. You deserve some love.) I took the picture on Saturday walking the flight line.

Cheers,

Bill

yeah it took us sometime to find it. The pond was overgrown with weeds due to it being late August. We ended up getting it with a swimming pool pole with a hook attached to the end of it.

One of Bill's many rules: "Never fly over anything you don't want to crash on..." You can add : "...or into."
