If anyone has had this problem, Here is the solution. I mounted my Futaba 401 gyro next to my 100 amp ESC from castle creations, each time I plugged the flight pack, the ESC would initialize and with each beep the tail servo arm would move. After a lot of trial and tribulations, As I could not figure out why with the canopy on during hovering the tail was all over the place, but with the canopy off it was stable. I figured out that the ESC was interfering with the gyro. Once I relocated the ESC to the rear of the fuselage it was spot on with the canopy. After all that time of trial and error, we figured out the problem. You cant emagine how many false leads I chased on this one. everything from changing the tail shaft to batteries looking for the solution. If there is anyone out there with a severe clicthing in the tail , look there. FIRST.......LOL

Yes sir, you are correct my friend. Talk about chasing ghost's I had a few folks scraching thier heads on that one. Just proves that at times even the most simple things can be difficult to solve.

That was a good save. I have had only one "bug" so far get me rattled.....the gyro was firm to it's base mount...but the mount broke loose. Talk about an eye opener in flight....lol....man, I thought the 60's had come back to haunt me..!!

LOL...... I bet it must have been interesting. It is nice to chat online with folks who have had similar events happen to them in this crazy hobby we enjoy so much. My wife calls it NERD stuff, but she in the end is cool with it, though not her thing. I guess if you dont fly or never been around this kinda stuff, you cant see the beauty in it.

LOLOL..........well she's got us pegged I guess..! My wife "tolerates" me fooling with them. Like you said, if they've never tried it, they can't understand our addiction...lol

One other moment was when a pitch link popped off...yep, put it in the dirt....lots of open mouths after the impact....no body hurt, just some pride...lol But I did have to throw my drawers way that time...lol
