Well I'm a newbie but ill guarantee u that I'm addicted to this hobby as anyone else. I got about 30 hovers on my trex 500 and felt pretty comfortable with it. So after work I decided to go to the local soccer field and try doing something alil more then hovering. Well that was a bad idea cause my girlfriend witnessed me jumping out of the way and the tail smacking down pretty hard. Fortunately I knew the day was getting was just a matter of time, trying to learn everything from real world experience without a simulator.i planned on getting one but my vehicle broke down and times are kind of tight. Oh we'll, I can tell this journey is going to be a long road of ups and downs but someday it'll payoff when I have a nice scale bird that I can ACTUALLY FLY. Lol. Just wanted to say thank you for all you helpfull ppl on this forum, I would not have got this far if it wasn't for all of you. Thank you RunRyder .

Glad you are o.k..
Sorry about your crash.
The simulator is a lot cheaper than it looks.
Keep flyin'!

I love the smell of nitro in the morning.

As you now know, the cost of a sim is cheaper than most crashes.

You might try a blade MCPx. It will take quite a beating, before you have to spend any money on repairs. As long as you hit throttle hold, before and not after you hit the ground.
