I can bring some chicken, brats and dogs. If noone else has a grill coming I could arrange transport for it too. I have had suggestions for pylons for racing, using foam noodles and lengths of pvc pipe. Could be fun. Night flying will be awesome, but we could do boat and buggy drags and amphib flying. Also will bring the projector for a movie to wind down the night. I can provide labor for cooking dutys and would love to see eggs and bacon/sausage for breakfast

I have the grill down at the shop. It's easy to transport and should do the job.

sept 28 & 29
Hey everyone,
Lets contact each other or post your plans. we want to have a nice dinner there and fly into the night.
Show a movie or two, do some partying and camp there if you want.

Then, I will bring all the fixings for omelettes on Sunday morning.
I am a great breakfast chef. Bacon, bagels. Maybe home fries if I get up early enough.

Lets hook this up

Propping guide
For those who have ever had questions, here is a Propping Guide for your glow engine.

http://www.rcrcc.com/props.html

For electric selection you need a calculator and to read this thread

http://www.rcdiscuss.com/showthread...y-and-Prop-Size

and if you want to do a scale 3 or 4 blade prop, here is the conversion chart for that

http://www.zingerpropeller.com/_2_blade_.htm

hope it helps, good flying!

Hey now its great to see some input here .
I can bring some buns and chips also some chicken to BBQ .
We need a Good size Grill to bring and cook Saturday nite and Sunday morning. Breakfast sounds good ...
Also after dark thirty we should only fly or drive electric power craft do to the noise other power sources may cause.

Safety First ..

EVERYONE is welcome.
I plan on staying the night.
See you there..

should be enough. Bill, Frank and I are at the field already. We're setup mid-field with power and tents. There will be a couple movies on the projector tonight and some night flying. I have 2 15' rolls of lights (blue and white) for those wishing to try night flying. Get up here guys, no clouds and almost no wind.

Well, the first annual night fly is over. It was a great time. We couldn't have had better weather for the event. A thin fog rolled in after midnight and made for some great light shows. Jason had a nice media setup for movies and R/C videos. Our camp was visited by some wildlife in the night, and heard sounds of coyotes in the distance. Bill and Frank showed up around 7:45am, Bill was getting the grill ready for breakfast and Frank was trying desperately to blow all of the morning fog away from the flight line with his helis. Thanks again Bill for the breakfast and to all who contributed the food and other supplies.
I can't wait for next year.

Sorry, I got very few usable images or video

Buzzed at the field
We must have attracted some attention because we got buzzed by a full scale plane not once, but twice.
