7s E5??
has anyone tried using a 7s pack in their E5? im getting a few around here and wondered if i could just throw one in every now and then.

I fly mine on 7S 4200. Should have gone 4500. But I've build it in the intent of going 7S therefore I've bought a Scorpion 890kv motor. I think 7S on 1100 kv motor will be too high an RPM even with a 12 tooth pinion.Team Synergy, Rail blades, Team Scorpion, V-Team

Tried 6s 4500, 7s 3700 and 8s 3300 packs. Settled on 8s single pack, 3300, 670g, 880kv motor, 13t with Jive 80hv. Spinning 2300rpm, packs cool, esc warm. Power is superb start to finish. 4:00 leaves 30% left in pack. 6s, 4500mah, KDE 1100kv everything was hot.

RTF weight 3.5kg across all 3 setups I tried.
