cooler air temps??
I have an Align 450 plus DFC and the other day I noticed that the help would barely get off the ground. However, this was in 32-35 degree temps. The batteries were kept warm till use but the heli cooled down quickly. Will the lower air temp diminish performance or should I be looking at something else. BTW, I am in training mode. But prior to the cooler temp it was flying great in 45 degree temps. any suggestions?
Thanx

likely something else is going on. I've flown 450's in much cooler weather and they were just fine, especially if you keep the battery warm until you are ready to fly.

OK, I took a closer look at things and found the belt to be pretty loose. I tightened it up and took her out and up she went. I didn't think a loose belt would cause it but whatever I did worked. thanx for making me take another closer look.

glad to hear it's working. cooler temps cause the boom to shrink causing the loose belt so keep an eye on it as it warms up, might get too tight. not sure how a loose belt would kill power, would cause problems on the tail.
