Need help reading data log/Governor changing speeds/FIXED IT
This vbar is in a Trex 700 nitro and the governor setup is identical to my other Trex 700 that holds great. It will hold great for a time, then seems like it drops the headspeed by 200-300 rpms. It will run at that speed for a while, then speed back up. It's not bogging, just changes speed. It will hold through tic tocs and piro flips until the head speed randomly drops. Hoping someone can look at my flight log and help.

I did save it as a pdf file. Just didn't know how to link to the pdf file so I just put the data in my post. If you can't offer any help, I'm not sure why you posted. For others who want to help me read the log, it looks clean from 1:35 to the end of the flight. During that time, I was experiencing the changing headspeed. Not sure what to look for.Team Synergy/ Rail Blades

Sensor gap the same on both helis? Maybe try adjusting. Magnets secure?

Are the two helis the same as for hardware, wiring routes etc?

It would seem relatively obvious that you have a governor sensor issue.

At 1:21 is says the govnernor has been turned off. Could your changing headspeeds be due to the governor kicking off and it going to your throttle curves?

Would there be another message if the governor reactivated? Does it stop reporting sensor issues when the governor is off?

That's what I was wondering. The log doesn't show "no sensor signal" during that portion of the flight. It seems to indicate the governor was turned off and never turned back on. What could cause that? Is it a sensor issue?Team Synergy/ Rail Blades

I replaced the ATG governor sensor with a GV1 sensor and everything is fine now. Still not sure why the log shows governor off and not a sensor signal error.Team Synergy/ Rail Blades

Hi Guys

I'm getting exactly the same error in logs

The Governour is not able to hold the Headspeed, but there is no more throttle available. Check the
maximum collective and the power of your engine. This message is issued only if there is a massive
demand on more energy.

I'm running the OS 91 Speed motor, everything is setup correctly.. 100% on throttle in Gov2 Menu 1950 on the head the Vbar is seeing the magnets so i know the sensor is working My Gov setup is stock no tweaks it was working fine before i dropped the motor out and rebuilt it. The motor starts and runs perfect just the gov isn't doing it's thing as it should

My logs don't show anything about loosing gov signal

The only conclusion i can come up with is maybe the sensor is sooooo slightly out of alignment

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Adam
