Most or all of your Questions will have multiple awnsers though all will have one answer in commend..." It all depends on Your Flying Style and Heli of Choice + Gear ".

IMHO...find someone close to you that's a Gasser pilot as this would be the best way to get into Gassers with minimal headaches.
What works best for one pilot may not work for another even if its the same Heli with the same gear. The Throttle curve is going to vary according to the servo setup... How much Malorie Expo do you have and also the throw on the ARM has lots to do aswell.

As for pitch, it all depends in your flying style and skills...
For example. I sport fly and simple loops and rolls so I have my Heli kinda tamed. I had the opportunity to have Raja fly my Trex 600 gas and we bump all the throws up by almost half of what I'm use to flying with. Just because I feel my Heli flew well for me, once an experience pilot like Raja had the controls, it wasn't as responsive for his flying style. I also don't use EXPO in anything so it was odd to add expo to try something different....

Point is... what works for one pilot... may or may not work for you as far as settings or curves go. You'll have to dial them in to each Heli and pilot.

Hope this helps...excuse the typos, via my chepo cell...hehe

EDIT: I see a Radikal in your gallery....the Rad uses the PUH format not the RC...is the RC240 for another Heli ?
YES... YoU puLL stART ! ~~~~ NO... it's NoT a FREAKN' Nitro !

Yes sir!

What we did there is turn up the throws so that the heli will move when you want it to, and then add expo so that it feels the same as it did with small corrections before the throws were turned up.

Originally when you went to go do a loop or roll, you were holding full back and it was taking a while for the heli to get around. Not good if you want to fly 3D style to have it that slow as if you're in trouble think about the situation where you're holding full back to pull out and its so slow you hit the ground first.

Wish you would have been able to make it to the field on 15N, could have spent more time with you there fine tuning your setup as I wasn't quite happy with what we had at the time. Did you put on longer blades now?
