Glacier battery packs?
I just ordered some Glacier packs for the Whiplash through BuddyRC.
I was curious if anyone had tried them yet or if anyone has any feedback on them. They are 6s, 5300mah packs and they have roughly the same demensions as the GensAce packs. They also come with the ec5 plug soldered on them. I figured for $110 they are worth giving them a shot to see how they work.

A buddy uses those in his TRex 700s and says they are great packs.

I just bought some to try in my Synergy E5 but it isn't built yet

Running 2 4000 packs in a Furion for a 12s setup. Have maybe 20 test flights on a new build. So far very good. Will be buying more. Other fellow club members like them too.

Oh,if your a registered user on ep buddy's old web site...I found you need to register again to use the new web site if making a purchase.

I also signed up to get a notifcation email on an out of stock item. I should of received an email when the item was back in stock. I did not get an email though I see the battery is back in stock. May be all his effort is in getting the new web site going?

I signed up on the new website. Glad to see a few people have tried the packs and like them. If they work good I will have to get some more. They have some pretty cool items on there website. I received a couple of ParaBoards from them and a new 306b Icharger is on the way too along with the packs. I will be hooking everything together with 2 Hewlett Packard server power supplies (24volts). It should make charging things a lot easier.

I have a pair of 6S 3300's on my Furion 6. They are great. When flying, I cannot tell the difference between this set and my sets of Gens Aces.
I am NOT saying they are the same(rebranded), I am saying I cannot tell which pack I am flying once the canopy is in place.

I fly a bunch of them in a 130x and 2 of the 5300s in a Synergy e7. The packs are a bit large and barely fit the Synergy, but they do squeeze in there and fly quite well. I have also flown the 5300s in my 550 and they did very well.

Am using a pair of 6S4000's in a Ballistic 635. Have about 40 cycles on them, and they are doing very well so far.Dr.Don

Hey guys, I have been using these Glacier 5300mah packs for quite a few flights now and they are working out pretty good so far. I am running 2100 headspeed with the 13 tooth pinion and a Scorpion 4525-520 ultimate motor. The packs fit nicely, they have been balancing very well and I am getting 6min. 20sec. flight times with ease. I think thats pretty good for a big electric heli like the Whiplash. They are a little on the heavy side but if your looking for good flight times I would highly reccomend them.

I've also been very pleased with them in my 550. I read somewhere someone had done some actual bench testing of them and they fared very well against higher dollar batteries.
