Sounds like too much gain on the tail and cyclic. Great flying as usual.

I'll probably get castigated for this, but this video just made me car sick. I have to say that while this takes incredible skill that I will never have, the latest "3D" coming out is just getting over the top (espcially this 12cell + electric stuff). I have recently found myself more and more youtubing nice scale flights and some of the cool jet plank scale stuff out there where I can actually see what is going on and appreciate the smooth transitions. Anyone feeling the same or am I on my own island?

Tareq has without a doubt very developed skills and someone from Dubai told me in the beginning for the first 2 years he spend "every" day 5 hours on the Sim.
But I think he is going in the wrong direction with putting to much effort in the "smack" kinda style of flying. It has reached a level where I as a spectator is getting bored after 1min. of flight because it is too hectic.
IMHO....

Same comments as Jonte. Incredible skill no doubt. Scarey as hell and if I'm ever around anyone flying like that with a heli that wound up, I'm leaving so as to not get killed and not be a witness to the tragedy that is coming.

I have definitely worked my way backwards towards sport and scale type flying.

How dare him not fly in a way that pleases you!

3D IS this hobby for most! If you want to fly like a plank then buy a plank! IMO of course...

I will never bash a particular type of flying but I too am not a big fan of smack 3D. Telling someone to go get a plank was not called for. I fly both and admire both and fly scale is fine for me. It takes all of my skill to make the helo fly "scale like". Rate setting on the gyro, and nice smooth egresses and approaches. Some say boring, I say relaxing and why I got into this hobby in the first place 20 years ago. I never could afford a real plane or helo and this fills that void for me. Smack 3D is like the X-Games of RC helo flying. I was always amazed at Szabo's flying and Tareq is in a different league but I too would rather watch from my computer screen to be safe. Amazing at what he can make these machines do.Century Hawk Sport, OS .32, Futaba 7C, GY-601 9251

must have the rpm as high as it can go like I think I heard 3500, maybe more in a few spots= 3.5 minute flight.
Yea, I agree with other dudes who don't like what T's done to rc helis by making the bird flirt with death. Low flying risk/control management at it's finest.

General consensus will prove that sport style 3d flyers like Szabo, Maxwell, most other 3d pros in general, like to use all the room available to them. Plank style stunting can get static without heli hover style 3d, same goes the other way around.

Helis are neat in the way they can go forward, backward, inverted, piro and just about everything mixed together at some point. Planks are stuck in forward only. Tarek in smack, stick banging and terra firma teasing,
Tareq has without a doubt very developed skills and someone from Dubai told me in the beginning for the first 2 years he spend "every" day 5 hours on the Sim.
If anyone did that they'd probably equal the result, something to aspire to, see you in 2 years, hardeeharhar.
