I suppose my first question would be why would you want to take a FBL unit and try to make it work on a FB heli? Using two different competing stabilization systems on the same heli sure doesn't sound like a logical way to do things.

I do know that my FBL units specifically say not to use them on a FB heli. All this being said, I have to admit I haven't done this, so I can't answer your question on how it works.

being that my curant heli is flybard and to up grade to a fbl isnt cost efffective..and also naza h says that it works with both.. so with that saying i like the postion hold my hexacopter has and it a hand off to stableize it makes you spoiled to fly..i want that on my compass knight 50.. can you see were iam going with thus....(aka iam not a good heli pilot..but i know hexacopters

HeliCommands HC3 series works well with FB from what i've read but i've never tried it, as soon as i moved to full size helis (450 to 800) i started right out of the gate with FBL but i don't see why other systems couldn't work with a FB systems as well, you might want to PM AerialSkyCam as i believe he has used a FB with a FBL system before......    ▲

The NAZA-H is designed to work with both Flybar and Flybarless units.

Although I have not flown it on a Flybared machine. I have tested it on a nitro with very good results.

If it is designed to work with both Flybar and Flybarless units then more than likely it's just a matter of a mode change in setup for using it with a FB heli and then your good to go.....    ▲

It works perfectly fine on a flybarred head. We have one set up on a 800 with a flybar and it is rock solid.

Go for it.

Thanks,
chris

Naza H does not have RTH like the M version does. That said, I love mine. Also flybarred and a gasser 800 (Bergen Observer) at 19 pounds.

I don't think you can connect the servo to it, I put one on my Goblin and have the throttle direct to the receiver. The Naza-H was designed to work on electrics.Team Synergy, Team Scorpion, No good deed goes unpunished
