Is There a 3d Teaching Thread in RR?
looked but did not find, any answers?

I've seen plenty on youtube but too many beginner/intermediate vids.

It is possible to pick up what the pros do in regular 3d pro vids.

I notice a lack of concise step by step stick positioning and heli response in most available vids. Slower flying and larger tx display in the vid/sim gives a person time to go back and forth between the tx and heli too, no one does that. You can hardly see what the stick is doing when it moves only slightly most of the time in all the vids seen.

There's got to be a list of 3d moves out there, someone want to list them all?

One more thing, anyone exercise the mind with other techniques like a board game or puzzle to prepare for 3d flying/constantly changing orientations?

Board game? You're an out of the box thinker!

The best way to practice orientations are the sim and real flying imo.

Slow piros both upright and inverted are a start.

I used this dvd a long time ago and it helped immensely.
Shows PIP of stick movements.
Good investment.

ww, yea I checked a few of raza's vids in the past, pretty good stuff.

The pirouetting hover is a good move rotating in both directions trying to keep the heli in one place, just got off the sim and it takes practice while speeding up the revolutions slowly.

I notice how the orientations aren't much different than two discs, one on the heli rotates applying control in the air from the one on the tx, it's almost mathematical.

That's a decent dvd to consider in the future, thanks for the link Corona007.
