Can a Hyperion charger wear out?
My Superduo used to charge faster than my 615i duo3, but now it's the other way around. Yes I do use my Superduo more, so is it possible? Tried exchanging power supplies with no effect therefore it's not my power supplies which are worn out.
Thanks for your answers guys.

There were some issues with the latest firmware causing long balancing times. Not sure if that applies as the firmware version of the chargers was not posted. Also not sure if the issue has been completely resolved yet.

Sounds like it is a settings issue. Mine is going on its 3rd season and I keep it updated with the latest firmware and no problems. Are you sure it may not be an issue with the batteries and having a difficult time balancing them? Either that or you have a setting off

Not a battery issue because they charge fast on my other Hyperion charger. It's a 615i but has the same program.Team Synergy, Rail blades, Team Scorpion, V-Team

If you have the latest firmware on it, maybe try setting the TCS to 95%

This charger is becoming useless as the parallel times have been way out of wack! There's NO reasonable answer as to why these parallel charges should take so long! The charge seems to be fine its the end balancing and termination that is NOT working. I don't want to hear that its the size of the packs etc. as it used to work a couple of firmware updates ago! I complained about this then and I was told that it would be addressed. It has not and fails miserably at parallel charging. I should have bought an FMA charger as they seem to be able to accommodate its customers without a hitch. Shame on Hyperion for not addressing this major flaw!!! For the price of this charger I expect more ESPECIAlLY since it worked fine a few updates ago.

Once FMA figures out how to make a hi amp/ voltage DUAL charger I'm done with Hyperion.
Later in that thread.
this is exactly what I am talking about. Yesterday, I ended up stopping a charge at 85 minutes (2x 6S 5800 packs on each side) from storage charge! I usually charge at 1C while loading up the truck and it would take 30 minutes or so with 8 batteries of this size. This was on the version before update 5.8. I am not bashing as I have had zero issues until 5.8.

I have two 1420i...

One takes a few minutes to balance at the end of the charge. The other one takes 2-3, sometimes 4 hours to balance the same batteries.

I am in the the same boat with my 720 super duo 3. Upgraded firmware and setup charge profiles, the balance charge takes forever. Now what? Is the charger bricked! This sucks!

Time to get power lab 8.

Strange. I am going on my 3rd year with my Super Duo 3 and works just as well as day one. Running the latest firmware, set my TCS to 97 percent, no issues with charge or balance
