I doubt they are planning on building and selling 1000 of these fuselages. For anyone that has done any serious glass/paint work you know how much time and effort might be involved in building one of these, even after there is a mold built for it. Heck I wouldnt build one of these if someone paid me $1200 let alone $600. For those of us that feel like they just have to have one, it is a bargain as far as im concerned. Heck, $600 in a fuse, and $600 in an airframe is still less than most high end 700 class heli airframes, and they dont even have this kind of wow factor.
I am more concerned about the underhood temps that would be created by running one of these than the cost. I dont think they anticipate every logo 600 owner buying one of these though, even if it were $300 most would complain about the price.

there are ventilation holes in the fuse, so no problems with heatIf you reach for the moon and fail, you will still land amongst the stars

1+! It's funny how even the non-Mikado flyers are complaining about the price.

I saw one and looked it over. It has the chevrons cut in the canopy a la Xxtreme series and it has them in the rear of the fuse as well. Excellent flo thru. Heat not be an issue at all.

Charlie- I have never tried the speed thing, but I am just guessing that a large amount of pitch and headspeed is in order. I would max out my voltage to try to reduce the overall amperage on the system.-Ryan
