Was supposed to be in the 60's today, sunny, no wind... Well it's 40 degrees with 30mph winds. Was really counting on going flying...

My wife went to Oklahoma for a week and a half. Thought I would get some great flying in.... Having a ground blizzard here now. Windy and blowing snow.

Walk on water long enough, eventually you will get your feet wet.

Hmmm. No wind here. But rain, heavy, steady, constant rain. Saturday and now all day today. Of course, it's melting the snow that's everywhere, leading to localized flooding in lower-lying areas near rivers and streams. But that's OK, because it's supposed to get colder a bit later this evening, and turn back into something that will start out as freezing rain, followed up by 3-5 inches of heavy, wet snow.

I'd settle for some wind and 40 degrees.

Just checked the forecast for next weekend.... Next Friday and Sat.... 73 degrees with less than 5 mph winds.

Walk on water long enough, eventually you will get your feet wet.

I lived in OK for a good part of my life. I can say this with absolute certainty... OK Sucks becuase Texas is full of blow hards and Kansas just plain sucks. I kid but it's true OK does get a lot of wind and the weather can be strange at times of the year.

We lucked out in NC as it has been perfect flying weather this weekend.

I believe this is your weather indicator.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

We don't get the exotic weather here - just cloudy and rainy and sometimes windy.
When I first moved here I was at the park and ride waiting for a bus and asked a kid waiting there if it ever stops raining here - he said "how the heck would I know? I'm only six"
Was checking weekend forcasts yesterday to see if there was anyplace I could go watch the comet this weekend - not gonna happen.

"dosen't" is not a real word
