I have noticed a ton of 300X helis in the classifieds for around $130 or so....NIB and Brand new....Don't see how that can be...It's been removed from the box and had parts stripped from it.

Anywho...What's this?
Buying the 300X just for the BX and selling the heli to get a super cheap BX?

I mean...I would never even consider buying the $130 300X since it would be waaaaay more expensive in the long run.

Take the price of the BX from the price of a 300X and you have about $30....So the 300X sans BX should sell for about $50 tops.

I guess if I already had a BX or Mini V Bar or something,it would be a different story....

Glad I'm not that only one annoyed by those. In FS listings, the terms NIB, BNF, RTF apparently have very flexible meanings to some people.

Selling what amounts to a for-parts heli for what is basically a profit feels sketchy... I guess if it keeps working, more power to 'em.

At one of the LHS around here, they sale the X300 for $249.00, now that's cheap! I was thinking of getting one.

P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!

Wow, for $249 I would have bought the 300x instead of the 130x. I'm very happy with the 130x but the larger 300x might be easier to learn on. I'm guessing the beastx is a better fbl controller than AS3X.

I also saw some ads for 300x's without the AR7200BX and my thought was who would buy that, it is basically worthless without the fbl controller. Now as a second heli for parts or as a replacement for a badly crashed 300x I guess it makes sense. I just hope the sellers aren't trying to trick newer people to the hobby. We need to make sure we encourage new people to the hobby do their research before they open their wallets.

be a great crash kit for someone who has a 300X and likes it. Also, if you have a FBL unit and wanted a cheap platform to wrap around it, wanted to try out a ZYX or 3GX (or whatever) - ect. I can see a use for a complete airframe for cheap. Not sure if $130 is the right price but compare that to what we were paying for 400 size heli's just a couple years ago. Even a Tarot or HK is $75 without any electronics.

Oh,I believe they're new alright.
I just think they're being sold for profit after taking the FBL off to use for cheap or sell separately.

People will always try to find a way to make a quick buck. Best way to stop this is for everyone not to buy them.

I think you are being a little harsh here, 249 for the heli bnf is a pretty darn good deal, consiering the beastx 7200 is 239, well, have a heli left over for m10 bucks. if they are wanting to make a little money on the side so be it. i dont agree with listing it as bnf when the unit is gone, but otherwise we all want to get the most bang for our buck here. Thats an easy way for someone to buy parts or have a rekit if you trashed your 300?

They're listed NIB...that means new in box.

They have been removed from the box and stripped of components.

NIB should come in an unopened sealed box.

And not liking $130 for a $10 heli is not being harsh.
